What we store

Your account - name, email, and optionally a phone number and photo.
Your groups and expenses - what was spent, by whom, split between whom, and any receipt photo you attach.
Your settlements and ledger - the working tables of each settlement and the payments recorded against them.
Basic technical data - IP address at sign-in and a device token if you enable push notifications.

What we never ask for

We do not ask for and cannot access your bank account, card details, or UPI credentials. Soljari Split records who owes whom; the money moves outside the app entirely.

Who can see your data

Expenses and balances are visible to members of the group they belong to. Ledger entries are visible to the two people involved. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with advertisers.

Support access

An administrator may open your account to investigate a problem you have reported. Every such access is logged with the administrator's identity.

Deleting your account

You can close your account from the app at any time. Your profile and expenses are removed from view immediately. Settlement records that involve other people are retained, because they are also those people's records - your name stays on them as it appeared at the time.
